Frequently Asked Questions

What sizes do you carry?

In an effort to cater to customers of all sizes, our clothing ranges from size XS – 3X (00-26). In special cases, we offer items up to size 5X. If you have any questions about sizes, do not hesitate to call the store!

What kind of clothing do you carry?

At The Peacock Room, we sell women’s apparel with vintage inspiration taken from 1920-1960 Hollywood. Our collection includes casual, cocktail, and formal finds.

We also have two sister stores, each carrying a unique style:

  • Frida is home to our everyday women’s apparel, accessories, and gifts with a casual, eclectic vibe. Our namesake is Frida Kahlo who used to live in our building in the early 1930’s!
  • Yama merchandises women’s apparel with clean, modern design and was inspired by the Midcentury architect Minoru Yamasaki.

Can I buy from you online?

Currently, we only sell our clothing inside our brick and mortar stores. We encourage you to visit our stores in person to try on our clothing yourself, feel the material you’ll be wearing, and experience our world-class customer service.

How much do your items cost?

We believe shopping shouldn’t have to break the bank, so we make a conscious effort to carry as many price points as possible. We also price match, so you won’t pay more than an online price!

What kind of sales do you have?

We typically have two season-ending sales, one at the end of the Summer and one at the end of the Fall. Apparel and accessories from the season that is ending will be a part of that sale. Check out our calendar to keep up with our sales and other upcoming events!
